Foam Roll

Foam rolling is a form of self-myofascial release that we use as part of our warm up with athletes at New Phila Barbell. below are video demonstrations for areas we hit.

Foam Roll- Back For this one we are wanting to foam roll from the base of the neck down to the vet bottom of our back, repeating 5-8 times or as needed
Foam Roll- Glutes/Butt Foam roll from the bottom of the back, to the top of the hamstring, 5-8 times on each side or as needed
Foam Roll- Hamstrings Foam roll from the bottom of the butt down to the knee. Repeat 5-8 times per side or as needed
Foam Roll- Quads Foam roll from the waist down to the knee. Repeat 5-8 times per leg or as needed
